Hi,
I was an LT in the Regiment. I was the 1st Platoon Leader for the Striker Battery 1/2 ACR(Avenger) Air Defense unit. I was wondering where I could find the orders assigning the Presidential Unit Citation to the Regiment for the 2003-04 deployment. I need them for my records. I love the site and wish almost every day that I could be in a unit like that again. Patriot is OK but “If you ain’t Cav…”
Thanks,
CPT Chambless

Looks like there are several adds since 2004.
Order# 133-02 designate a VUA for 2/2
Order# 244-01 designate a VUA for HHT as well as Troops I, K, and L
Order# 269-14 designate a MUC for the entire Regiment for their last deployment to Afghanistan.
Perhaps it was always just a rumor, but is it possible for someone else to inquire about a unit award for the Regiment’s 15 month tour in Iraq VII-IX during the surge campaign?
Respectfully,
Charles Creed
